As part of the anniversary celebrations of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences (FISIB), students from the Department of Communication Studies successfully organised a Batik Nyanting event in the courtyard of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences (FISIB) on Monday (10/6). The event was attended not only by FISIB residents, but also by students from other faculties at Trunojoyo Madura University.
Tresna Art, who supported the event, gave a tutorial on how to make batik to all those who were enthusiastic about making batik. Apart from batik dyeing, FISIB also introduced the new faculty mascot called MADSAE. The mascot is dressed in orange, the colour of the faculty’s pride and also the head of a buffalo.
