Results of the Competition and Its Impact

CAKRA FEST provides an opportunity for students to showcase their creativity in photography and cinematography. Winners in the Photography category were students from SMAN 2 Bangkalan and SMAN 1 Kandat, while the Cinematography category winners came from SMK Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Pamekasan and SMAN 1 Bangkalan. Beyond receiving awards, the winners are encouraged to consider UTM as their next destination for further studies in communication.

This event also offers valuable insights for 12th-grade students who are preparing to choose a university. The challenge of competing for spots in highly sought-after communication programs is a key focus, especially in mapping out potential study programs and universities. Many participants are eyeing the Communication Science Program at UTM, which offers significant opportunities through the SNBP track. For those who don’t succeed in the first round, there is still the chance to try through the SNBT selection, ensuring they have clear priorities in pursuing their academic goals.

CAKRA FEST 2024 is not only a competition but also a learning and inspiring platform for prospective students. The festival is a valuable moment for young people to prepare themselves for the academic and professional world, particularly in the field of communication. UTM hopes this event motivates them to continue their educational journey with confidence and enthusiasm.
