Bangkalan, October 30, 2024 – The Communication Science Program of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences (FISIB) at Universitas Trunojoyo Madura (UTM) successfully held a student creativity proposal writing workshop titled “Beyond Creativity.” The event took place in the FISIB seminar room on the 2nd floor, featuring Zainul Ahwan, S.Sos., M.Ikom., a lecturer from Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan, as the keynote speaker.
The workshop aimed to enhance students’ skills in crafting competitive and innovative creative proposals, particularly for those intending to participate in the Student Creativity Program (PKM) and various other development programs. With the theme “Beyond Creativity,” the workshop provided technical guidance and insights on how to generate original ideas that are both relevant and highly competitive.
In the opening session, Zainul Ahwan highlighted the importance of creativity that transcends standard boundaries in proposal writing. “Creativity is the key to making student ideas not only appealing but also applicable in various social and industry scenarios,” he said. He also shared specific tips on structuring and crafting effective proposals, from research stages to final presentation.
In addition to the main lecture, the workshop included an interactive Q&A session, where students eagerly discussed the proposal ideas they were developing. Participants had the opportunity to explore and present their concepts, while receiving feedback from the speaker to enhance their creative potential.
The Head of the UTM Communication Science Program expressed hope that through events like this, students will gain greater confidence in participating in various competitions and creative initiatives that inspire them to keep innovating. The workshop concluded with a group photo and a brief discussion session between the speaker and UTM FISIB faculty members.
The “Beyond Creativity” workshop is expected to inspire and open new horizons for students to explore their creativity and develop their potential in both academic and non-academic fields.
