On October 2, 2024, Universitas Trunojoyo Madura will hold a tracer study event for the Communication Science Study Program in the Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of FISIB. This event is presented as a valuable opportunity for alumni from various generations to gather, share experiences, and contribute to the development of the study program.
The tracer study is one method for evaluating the success of education by collecting data on alumni’s career paths after graduation. Through this activity, the university aims to understand how the education received by alumni influences their readiness to face challenges in the job market. Additionally, this event also aims to identify areas that need improvement in the curriculum and teaching methods.
During the event, alumni will be invited to participate in interactive discussions involving active students, faculty, and university representatives. This session is expected to provide in-depth insights into the various challenges faced by alumni in the professional world, as well as the strategies they apply to achieve success. Furthermore, alumni can share experiences regarding the skills and knowledge that were most beneficial during their studies.
This tracer study activity will not only focus on quantitative data but also on exploring more in-depth qualitative information. Alumni are expected to provide feedback on their satisfaction with the study program, the relevance of the curriculum, and the support they received during their education. Thus, the results of this activity will serve as a reference for developing a more relevant and responsive curriculum to meet industry needs.
The event will also serve as a networking opportunity for alumni and students. Through this gathering, it is hoped that a strong network will be created between generations of alumni and current students, providing support for career development. Alumni with experience in various sectors can inspire and guide students on the steps they can take to achieve success in the job market.
All Communication Science alumni are invited to attend and actively participate in this event. Alumni presence is crucial to ensure the success of the tracer study and to provide maximum benefits for the entire academic community of Universitas Trunojoyo Madura.
