Kupang, NTT – In an effort to enhance the skills and insights of students, the Communication Science Study Program at Trunojoyo University Madura (UTM) successfully held a guest lecture themed “Personal Branding and Capacity Building” at Nusa Cendana University (UNDANA), Kupang. The event, which took place on Monday, October 21, 2024, successfully captured the attention of third- and fifth-semester students from the Communication Science program.
The activity began at 10:00 AM WITA in the New Building of the FISIP UNDANA lecture hall, featuring experienced lecturers from UTM who provided in-depth presentations on the importance of personal branding in the digital era. In an interactive atmosphere, students were invited to discuss and share experiences, creating an inspiring and motivating environment.
Outcomes of the Guest Lecture:
- Improved ability of UTM lecturers to deliver engaging and informative guest lectures, creating an effective learning experience.
- A significant increase in student enthusiasm, with a better understanding of the concept of personal branding as a key asset in entering the professional world.
- A warm relationship was established between the Communication Science Study Program of UTM and UNDANA, creating a mutually beneficial cooperative network.
This activity was followed by an official visit to the Atambua Communication and Information Office, Belu Regency, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between Trunojoyo University Madura and local government agencies in developing human resource capacity.
Through this series of activities, it is hoped that students will not only gain knowledge but also build extensive networks and enhance the skills necessary for success in the workplace.
